Jon Hamm

Jonathan Daniel „Jon“ Hamm (geb. 10. März 1971) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, der hauptsächlich TV-Rollen spielt. Mitte der 1990er Jahre lebte Hamm von kleineren Rollen in mehreren Fernsehserien, darunter Providence, The Division, What About Brian und Related. Im Jahr 2000 gab er sein Spielfilmdebüt in Clint Eastwoods Weltraumabenteuer Space Cowboys. Im folgenden Jahr trat Hamm in der Independent-Komödie Kissing Jessica Stein (2001) in einer Nebenrolle auf. Weltweite Berühmtheit erlangte Hamm durch die Rolle des Werbefachmanns Don Draper in der AMC-Dramaserie Mad Men, die im Juli 2007 Premiere feierte. Hamms Leistung brachte ihm 2008 einen Golden Globe Award als bester Schauspieler in einer Dramaserie ein. Abgesehen von seiner Arbeit an Mad Men, Hamm trat 2008 in dem Science-Fiction-Remake The Day the Earth Stood Still auf und behauptete seine erste Hauptrolle in dem Independent-Thriller Stolen (2010). Hamm hatte 2010 eine Nebenrolle in dem Krimi The Town.
