Eric Marlon Bishop (geb. 13. Dezember 1967), beruflich bekannt als Jamie Foxx, ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Sänger und Komiker. Seinen Karrieredurchbruch erlebte er als Nebendarsteller in der Sketch-Comedy-Show In Living Colour, die er bis zum Ende der Show 1994 ausstrahlte. Nach diesem Erfolg bekam er seine eigene Sitcom, The Jamie Foxx Show, in der er von 1996 bis 2001 die Hauptrolle spielte, die er mitgestaltete und produzierte. Foxx erhielt Anerkennung für seine Darstellung von Ray Charles im Film Ray (2004) und gewann den Oscar, den BAFTA, den Screen Actors Guild Award und den Golden Globe Award als Bester Schauspieler.
